Challenge
Homescale Farm in Kendal, Cumbria needed to increase milk cooling capacity after rising production pushed its existing system to full capacity. This created a risk of delays, temperature compliance issues, and limited the farm’s ability to support continued growth. In addition, restricted site space meant the new equipment had to be carefully positioned to maintain efficient operations.
Solution
DD Cooling delivered a complete turnkey upgrade, installing a Mueller S-24000 bulk tank silo alongside three energy-efficient J & E Hall condensing units. The system was fully designed, supplied, and installed to integrate seamlessly with the farm’s existing infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation and optimal performance.
